Which Cheering Point is best for me?
Blue House Hill
Participants will come past you three times between 10am-2pm during miles 1, 3 and 12. This is a great place to watch if you want to pop back to the Runner’s Village during the day. Just a short walk up from the Runners village, you can bring along a picnic blanket or camping chair to sit and watch the runners go by. Public toilets are available next to the Verulamium Museum.
Participants go past at miles 6 and 11 between 10:30am-1pm, however you need to be in by 10am as the road will be closed from then. The road re-opens at 12pm. This is a great place to watch if you are looking for a relaxed day with a few drinks and good food. Parking is free in the pub car park. Toilets and food are also available in the Pub.
Participants will be passing between 11am-12:30pm during miles 8/9. Watch here if you are ready to do lots of cheering as the participants will be feeling the strain by now! You can come and go as you please from Noke lane; the road is closed so roadside parking is available for free. You will be right next to the runners at this spot so stick your hand out for a high five.
