Chip & Gun Time
Please note, chip timing will provide a personal time at the point you actually cross the start line, where as the gun time is your time from the point the gun goes off. You will be provided with both results. Raceahead is the official ChampionChip timer of the event.
All appeals and correspondence must be addressed to the Race Director. The decision of the Race Referee shall be final.
Prizes will be awarded on the basis of the official ‘Gun Time’ in accordance with UKA rules of competition and the event rules.
Please note medals, t-shirts and ice lollies are awarded to all finishers in all events
Half Marathon (Runners Only)
Winners will be awarded cash prizes based on the following categories:
|Vets (40-49)||Vets (35-44)||£100.00||£75.00||£55.00|
|Super Vets (50+)||Super Vets (45+)||£100.00||£75.00||£55.00|
Team prizes will be calculated on finish positions and will be based on GUN time.
5K Competitive Race
Trophies will be awarded to the following
|Male (17 Yrs+)||1st||2nd||3rd|
|Female (17 Yrs+)||1st||2nd||3rd|
|Boys (13-16 Yrs)||1st||2nd||3rd|
|Girls (13-16 Yrs)||1st||2nd||3rd|
The Secondary School Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the primary school with the highest number of children entered into the 13-16 Yrs category of the 5K race.
1.5 Mile Fun Run (U12)
Trophies will be awarded to the following:
|Boys (under 12 Yrs)||1st||2nd||3rd|
|Girls (under 12 Yrs)||1st||2nd||3rd|
The Primary School Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the primary school with the highest number of children entered into the 1.5 mile fun run.
Where possible, presentations for category winners, including teams and challenge winners, will take place as soon as possible after each race. The commentator will call runners to the presentation area 5 minutes prior to each presentation. The Mayor of St. Albans and the event celebrity will present prizes.
